Join us as we take a peek into the studio of Jack Milroy. Educated at the Scarborough School of Art and the University of London, the Glasgow-born artist is based in Sussex and London. Specialising in intricate cut-paper designs, Milroy's work transforms printed form into complex structures and paradisal landscapes.

Carefully carving with a scalpel, Milroy recomposes and reconstructs printed material to imbue it with fresh meaning. His finished sculptural works merge meticulous precision and structural prowess; at once ornamental and architectural. Through innovative layering, the works evoke new narratives and a sense of poetry. Vibrantly colourful, the spectacularly sculptural pieces spread joy to those who engage with them.

Represented in renowned institutions across the world, his ornate and striking three-dimensional works are held in collections such as the Victoria and Albert Museum, the British Library and the Bank of America. He has exhibited widely at venues such as the Imperial War Museum, the Scarborough Art Gallery and the Arts Council.
