Jack Milroy
Jack Milroy is a Glasgow-born artist with a career spanning more than six decades, whose work transforms and transcends the physical materials of printed culture - pages, type, illustration - into intricate cut-paper sculptures and book art. Educated at the Scarborough School of Art and the University of London, Milroy has developed a practice that sits at the intersection of surrealist wit and meticulous craftsmanship. His works are held in the Victoria and Albert Museum, the British Library, the Imperial War Museum, and other major collections.
