Biography

Throughout her illustrious career, Frankenthaler's work has been exhibited in major cities including New York, Los Angeles, Paris, San Francisco, Chicago, and London. Her masterpieces are featured in prominent collections at the Art Institute of Chicago, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, the Tate, and the National Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C. Beyond her paintings, Frankenthaler also explored ceramics and steel sculptures, and had a significant printmaking practice.
