The complete set of thirteen original drypoint etchings painted with watercolours applied by Salvador Dali, 1973, on Arches paper, all are pencil signed on the front and further inscribed and signed verso: I certify that ____ (each title of the thirteen works, Frontispiece, Joseph, Levi, Simeon, Reuben, Judah, Dan, Naphtali, Gad, Asher, Issachar, Zebulun, Benjamin) of the Twelve Tribes of Israel is my original hand colored work / Salvador Dalí, with the Salvador Dalí copyright ink stamp, plates: 51 x 37.1 cm. (19 3/4 x 14 1/2 in.), sheets: 66 x 50.8 cm. (25 3/4 x 20 in.). The collection also comprises of a set of thirteen original drypoint and etchings of the cancelled plates without the pochoir as well as the unique copper printing plates used to print the edition.
This work is accompanied by a copy of the letter from the renowned Dali expert Albert Field confirming the authenticity of the works and valuing them for the purposes of tax pre deaccessioning from the collection of the Freedman Gallery, Albright College, Pennsylvania. Albert Field wrote the official catalogue of the Graphic Works of Salvador Dali, authorised by Salvador Dali.
This work is further accompanied by a Certificate of Authentication from Salvador Dali Traders.
